So if I got a 3 on my AP Chemistry exam, and I took a higher-level chemistry class at a local community college, would I get credits for both (at UCs)? Or would one count as elective credits? Also, can you use CC classes to fulfill GE requirements? And can AP and CC credits go towards earning a degree? I want to start getting some classes out of the way, but I don’t know where to start lol. And if I do get a 3, would retaking the AP exam or just taking a CC class be smarter? A 4 lets you skip introductory and general chemistry at most UCs. Thanks!
A 3 in ap chem only covers an intro chem class at most schools. So I would recommend just taking DE general chem. Yes, ap credits and DE count towards a degree.
