I sadly got rejected by The Lawrenceville School. Am I allowed to apply for S.Y 2014 - 2015 even though I got rejected for S.Y 2013 - 2014?

Yeah! of course :)

I can’t see why not :).

@pvirtuoso: If Lawrenceville is the only school to which you applied, I’d encourage you to broaden your scope a bit. Unless you have an acceptable back up (which I’m thinking you don’t because you are considering applying a second year), putting all your eggs in one basket…and one of the more selective baskets at that…is a risky play.

People have reported success on second applications to the same schools. Hopefully you got some read on why you may not have made the cut…so you can work on that for the new application cycle.

Also, consider applying for the same form/class/year (ie. repeating a grade) you did this year…may help and it’s a common enough practice.

Yeah. In fact, I reapplied and ended up getting into both schools that had rejected me and schools with even more selective admission. It’s definitely worth a shot.

I reapplied after being rejected and got accepted to one of the two schools. Good luck.
