Are Romanian Degrees Accredited ie is it worth it?

Hi,
I am a resident of Dubai, UAE and have finished my 2 years of Alevels in Phyiscs, Chemistry, Biology, Pure Maths and have scored all A’s. I want to do medicine studies either MBBS/MD. The problem with me is i havent yet applied anywhere for medical studies. And i have a huge financial problem. So i am looking for somewhere where its cheap to study medicine. I searched a lot but in the end came up with Romania. Its cheap, a 6years course in english…But ive heard that the degress arent Accredited from Romania? They arent globally recognised? Is this true…Because one of my doctor uncle said it doesnt matter where u do ur MBBS…the thing that matters is specialization so he prefered Romania for me. But my teachers say the degrees aint acredited…Anyone know about this?

Also, anyone knows any place where its cheap to study medicine and where i am eligible to get Schoalrships/Financial aid regarding my merits? ( 4 A’s)
Any place like USA/Germany/Australia/Canada?

Thanks a lot.

depends on what organization acredits it. I don’t know anything about Romanian medical schools though. If you’re planning to practice medicine in Romania it would probably be fine, but it would depend elsewhere because every country has its own requirements.

Thanks for the advice…Anyone else knows anything about romanian degrees?

Most (if not all) US med schools give financial aid. It would be worth a shot to try applying to schools in the US. The fact that you’re a foreign student is a plus because it will add diversity to med school classes. Good luck!
