Are summer courses worth the cost?

<p>I’m considering taking a few AP courses over the summer.
If I do take them, the cost will probably be around $2000-3000 altogether. </p>

<p>They are classes that I’m very interested in, but do not have room in my schedule for.
It’s my backup plan, in case I do not get into any of the summer programs that I have applied to.</p>

<p>Do you think the courses would have a worthwhile impact on my GPA and college admissions?</p>

<p>Check with your school to make sure you can get some transcript notation. My school won’t count it towards your GPA or give a grade, but will show it as a course for acceleration on a transcript.</p>
