I am a junior (class of 2025), and I was wondering if the prompts are going to change next year. If so, how much will change?
They will for sure keep the choose your own essay option, and you can use that if they get rid of the prompt you use, which is still unlikely.
You’re asking this question far too early, imo. Think about it: you have 6 months of your junior year left. A lot can change in that time. As a professional who assists students with essays, the earliest I have ever worked with a student on essays is May. If you write it now, you’ll be waiting until at least Aug 1 to submit it. You may decide you have a different idea, or you might feel it’s not good by then.
It’s likely the prompts will remain very similar to what they are now, and almost certainly, topic of choice will remain. I’d wait a bit.
