Are the transcript/letter of recs/secondary school report supposed to be sealed?

The question is pretty self explanatory.

They say that they want the forms typed, but it poses a problem for the secondary school report if it is necessary to be sealed as well, since it requires a student and parent signature. Here are the two possible scenarios:

The student emails the .doc form to the counselor, and the counselor completes the form on the computer. Then, he/she prints it out and gives it to the student to sign and for his/her parent to sign. In this case, the sealing would be redundant since the student has already seen how the counselor responded to the secondary school report.

The student prints out the form, signs it, and has his/her parents sign it. Then, the student gives the printed form to the counselor to complete. However, since it is a physical form, the counselor can’t complete it electronically, and must use black ink to complete the form.

I assumed that it needed to be sealed, and opted for option #2. Is that okay?

Thanks!

The report is supposed to be printed and given to your counselor to complete. Option #2 makes sense; I would get the signatures prior to it being filled out.

Option two sounds ideal.
Can you direct me to where is says we need black ink? My counselor used blue ink, but I can’t find where it needs black ink anywhere, and I’d like to have time to go back to her if this needs to be corrected. Thanks :]

It doesn’t specify the color of ink. I’m sure black would be preferred, but I assume blue is fine too.

I prefer blue, then it doesn’t look like a copy, but it’s really irrelevant haha
