Thanks, everyone! @OrangeFish hahahaha! Poor doggies. @2lights we have! We visited campus last spring break and then again in November for her interview/portfolio review. It’s such a great fit for her.

WVU has BFA and BA.
My list is constrained by money so I don’t have a lot of “name” schools on it.
@Gatormama honestly, not really. I will take a look at WVU, thank you! @soundgirlmom I did look into them earlier in the process, but decided they weren’t really for me. @techmom99 that’s really good to hear! I’ve been considering Fredonia because I have family nearby, and I may call and ask about applications.
@Bubblewrap666 Just one word of caution regarding Wright State - they are currently having serious financial issues. I would carefully research this problem before enrolling there. The Dayton Daily News has written several articles about it.
My D applied to University of Arizona and Webster for lighting design. She has been accepted to UoA - still waiting to hear from Webster. This is stressful!
Arizona State is still taking applications and NAU is as well.
D just got waitlisted for BFA in Sound Design at DePaul. It’s the first break in the silence for a couple of weeks.
A “yes” for D @DePaul today. I am relaxing with a large glass of wine and trying to decompress from the week. Thanks to all of you fellow tech parents for the support.

Hi Drama Mamas and Drama Dads. My S has applied at 4 schools, 3 BFA programs where he did portfolio reviews on campus and 1 safety BA program that seemed a good fit.
So far he has been accepted at the safety school with no current desire to attend. He has been accepted at Coastal Carolina BFA Tech Theatre hoping to focus on lighting design. Last Friday was WL at DePaul. We are anxiously waiting to hear from CCM at U of Cincy. My husband and I are trying to figure out the pros and cons of making a phone call and who should make the call. I am seriously giving myself an ulcer over this process and the waiting.
Does anyone know when decisions will be made at CCM, Webster, Carnegie Mellon, or honestly any other tech programs?? There’s been a lot of acting acceptances recently and I was wondering if tech acceptances will come out at the same time. Thanks!
My D is still waiting to hear from Webster tech lighting design. @Ashley102399 - what is your major in tech?
