Best Buddies Club(10,11,12) I was paired with a student in my school who has autism. Every week we would meet and discuss whatever my ‘buddy’ wanted to talk about.
Humanitarian Group (10,11,12) Founder and president…community service group. Every month members would go around collecting a selected item and then we would combine what we collected and donate the items.
Varsity Fencing (9,10,11,12) Captain
Martial Arts/kickboxing (9,10,11,12)
Girl Scouts(since 2000) I have received my silver and gold award
Piano ( since 2001) Self-taught
Classic philosophy books( I have read over 70 books on philosophy for ex. Socrates, aristotle, machiavelli, Karl marx, etc</p>

Advanced Math Research: (9,10,11,12) I have attended the Hofstra LI math fair for four years. I have won two silver medals</p>

<p>I know that colleges care that you are really passionate about a couple of organizations/clubs rather than just participating in countless.</p>

<p>But if you are looking for a generic response, then yes, that is an impressive EC lineup.</p>

<p>Sound good to me. NHS always looks good on the college resume. They like to see that you didn’t just sit around and read those great books you mentioned.</p>
