Are these Universities good enough for an International seeking low contribution? [3.78 GPA, rank 1]

got it!

I think at schools like Case, RD is tough. I would EA.

That said, whatever you do, they’ll potentially ask you to flip to ED2 - they are needing to find bodies as their non ED yield is extremely low. But if they’re not going to hit cost in the NPC, why apply at all? Do they hit cost??

Oh my I listened to @MYOS1634 and mailed them change to rd (no response though). Are you sure to EA still my sat is low (1430) and planning for the CS major. So I think RD would be better

OK - leave RD. If you discussed with @MYOS1634, who is very knowledgeable, btw - then you’re good.

No matter what - again, this isn’t the type of school that’s not going to matter.

You are putting your efforts, in my opinion, at the wrong kind.

I would be on niche finding every public that has a W, N, S, E or a something state that is not the state name - like Minot State - and i’d be going through COA and merit tables.

That’s where I’d have my effort personally.

Don’t keep changing.

You discussed with an experienced poster. You emailed Case.

You don’t want to email them again - just leave alone.

I didn’t see the previous conversation - you’ve got way too many posts.

Sorry and good luck.

The EA deadline is less than 45 mins from now. So make sure you submit on time!

which school was that

The EA/ED deadline is 11:59pm local time

OP is in India and that time has now passed.

In January (or December), update them with your latest SAT scores.

No, EA is better there, best odd at sufficient merit - submit score and complete all possible supplements. Make sure to explain what you’d like to research and with which professors’ research it’d match.
That being said, I’m not sure Wooster can come down to 12k. They probably expect a bit more even stacking merit and need.

Wooster is working out great so far! We are glad to have made that decision rather than a large University. Only drawback is it is remote. But then many LACs are.

As for 10-12k budget not sure if one can get that unless you are truly exceptional. Essentially full-ride. But may be you can.

I think in Wooster may be hard to go under 25k unless you are a sports person.

Kind of confused on where to send my free scores.

  1. Washington and lee is my first priority.

@MYOS1634 I hope your doing well, I am currently working on my commonapp colleges and I found that there are about 5 more slots left for me to fill here, what do you recommend I do? I filled every college that is available in the coalition app and remaining here.

I really think your opinion would matter.

The other 3 scores should be sent to public universities that offer sufficient merit, full tuition or full rides, to internationals, because these often want scores sent directly from the college board. Some of these universities have been listed before.
As for the last 5, I’m not sure. Sewanee? Wabash?

You’re considering schools in Qatar and China too? That’s a new twist!

Yes, I wouldn’t leave India for Qatar or China  as an Indian. Qatar is restrictive even if you’re Muslim, and if you’re not
 Even more so.
Or are you just applying to any school that will take your application in the hopes of getting in, even if you burn all your bridges by doing so?
