Oddly, I’m getting interested in this, although why I should care about two strangers tying the knot is beyond me. I mean, this is not your “fairy-tale wedding.” These are people of their generation doing what people of their generation do – marrying their long-time partner because they’ve reached the age where it makes sense to consider starting a family.

It’s a shame that he’s losing his hair. Don’t they have Rogaine in England?

Well, I got in the middle of the night to watch the total lunar eclipse, so, what the heck, I might check out The Royal Wedding on-line at 5am. . .Not a drop of English blood in me, but these things don’t come around very often, so it’s fun to enjoy the moment.

I was all set to get up at an ungodly hour, just as I did with Charles and Diana, however, I realized tonight that TiVo is a wonderful thing. I did by english muffins and will make a pot of tea while I watch the festivities.

I’m not excited, but I’m right there with The Inanes (I think we need a name, thanks YouDon’tSay). I’m in the 3:00 am zone and I’m DVRing it on BBCA and ABC (hey, I’ve got to have fair and balanced coverage ). But I tend to wake up in the middle of the night anyway, so instead of trying to fall back asleep I think I’ll just head down to the TV. The DVR will be my backup plan.

There’s not a wedding dress show alive that I wouldn’t tune in for. Sad, but true.

I’m on Pacific Time…staying up all night to watch Pre-game, the wedding, and then go to class at 8AM. I do have English blood in me, but I just figured it’s an historical event.

Watching and on cc here. The Queen does look sweet , but if I were queen I would wear a tiara, not a hat. Kate looks so beautiful, love the dress!
