Man, no one does a wedding like British royalty!

The dress suits her.

Anybody else think Kate should have considered putting her hair up?

^^ NO! @ having her hair up.

Havent seen much of Elizabeth or Charles…

I’m watching as I type and get ready for work. S gets married 3 months from today. I remember holding him as an infant when I watched C and D marry.

She looks absolutely exhausted, poor thing.

My mother remembers my older sister saying (probably early 1960s) that she was going to marry Prince Charles. “You’re too young.” (Joke was on her–Di was younger.)

I feel sorry for Pippa trying to walk in that dress, much less climb stairs.

Actually she was very graceful as she had to bend down and reposition Kate’s train. I give her props for a job well done.

Not many, other than British royalty, have $50+ million to spend on a wedding. ;)

I woke up around 5 and turned the tv on in the bedroom. Didn’t actually get out of bed til 6:30 and wander downstairs.

Kate looks beautiful. I love the dress and I also love that she didn’t put her hair up entirely. Westminster Abbey is such a spectacular place. It’s always one of my very favorite spots to visit when I’m in London.

I’m an official hat-lover now. Spectacular!

I love that Kate’s gown has sleeves. It is beautiful and traditional …and not obnoxiously huge
My daughter likes to watch the TV show, " Say yes to the dress " and I think they spit out the same dress for every bride ( and not all of them should go without sleeves or straps )

Barbara Walters is so annoying, why does she pretend to be an authority on the British royals! I’m very disappointed that so many people on ABC have (wrongly) called William the future king of England!

So on TV they have referred to Kate as “Princess Kate/Catherine”. Is she a princess now? I thought she got titles of Countess/Baroness?

Why is it wrong to call William the future king of England?

Will we only be able to do so once Charles is king (hopefully I have that right…)?

Her full title is Princess William of Wales, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn, Baroness Carrickfergus - but she will only use the Duchess title.

Because England hasn’t been a kingdom for some 300 years; he’s the future king of the United Kingdom.

“Baroness Carrickfergus”?

Sounds like something from a Monty Python skit!

^
Thanks, Dionysus!

Interesting that the bells at the Abbey will ring for three hours! Wow.
