It looks like Florida State quarter back Winston’s accuser claims it was rape. The accusation alone will probably cost him the Heisman. If he gets indicted, FL State probably won’t play for the national championship against Alabama.

…and Jameis Winston’s attorney says it was consensual sex. This is a sad saga, with no winners. State attorney Willie Meggs said Saturday that he doesn’t expect to announce until after Thanksgiving week whether the state will charge Winston or not. If he is charged, he is off the FSU football team per FSU policy.

That was some match up last night between Patriots and Broncos. I’m a Pats fan but almost threw in the towel, the first half was so bad. But I hung in there and the second half was WILD. Pats were down 24-0 at the half and WON the game in OT 31-34! How’s that for a comeback?

Peyton Manning looks old and tired, sorry to say. (I’m just making an observation, not trying to offend anyone)

The Pats rookies are certainly getting a workout this season with all their seasoned player injuries.

By the way, I caught the tail end of the GA-Auburn game a few weeks ago and that ending was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I almost never watch college football, prefer NFL, but I was on that channel and couldn’t believe what I was watching! That was some game ending! :)

^^^^I love college ball better than NFL. The crowds are more emotional, the bands are going nuts, and the mistakes these guys make both on offense and defense make for really exciting stuff.

Agree Nrdsb4, i like high school games for same reasons
Here is a good college football read on one of the most amazing football-related things I’ve ever seen. Or one of the most amazing physics-related things I’ve ever seen. An object in motion simply should not act this way.
Rick Cleveland (now executive director of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame) marks the occasion with an article and The you tube at the bottom shows the flight of the ball.

If he’d hit a 70-yarder, though, I doubt it’d be remembered like this one he missed. That thing looked like it got caught in an updraft.

The 30th anniversary of the famous “Hand of God” field goal that preserved an Ole Miss win in the 1983 edition is in this news highlight clip of the game. The field goal is at the beginning and not shown again, but it’s better quality video than the clip of the field goal itself.

The packers lions game should be good today. Jose Sitton of the packers said the lions are a dirty team starting with their coach. That should get the lions up in arms and ready to play dirtier than ever.

^ UCF vs. USF is Friday night in Orlando. Don’t make any bets with anyone Saturday morning on this game or you’ll surely lose all your money! :)

UCF and FSU will be big favorites in these two games, but anything can happen when these teams play each other. UCF and FSU are ranked now, USF and UF are playing rank now.

Saturday is looking really good for some passionate football. Major rivals who are closely ranked in the top 25 - what could be better than that! Alabama v Auburn, South Caroline v Clemson and UCLA v USC. Wow, amazing line up. Well, I hear cars arriving in the driveway. Time for turkey. Stay safe, everyone, and have a great Thanksgiving.

After years of being the resident jacka$$, Bo Pelini must be today’s leading candidate for Turkey of the Year. Actually, you may give it to that entire football program. Glad they moved to be among the Legends and Leaders where they fit in perfectly.
