Are You Ready For Some Football!!!!

Yes, well, that’s not going to happen so…

And I know we’ve discussed college football before. If we hadn’t, I wouldn’t have asked here.

Bowls are starting to jell now…but stuff happens.

Rooting for MSU for several reasons:

DW went there for undergrad

It would drop a hand grenade into the BCS standings, which would be very entertaining.

tOSU has played a weak schedule.

They’ll probably win though.

LOL, nre.

I honestly have no idea. We didn’t look that great last week, but OSU almost crumbled against an OK Michigan team. I think MSU is hungrier.

I am just hoping that OSU doesn’t kill MSU and therefore MSU won’t go to the Rose Bowl (like they’re floating around on the Michigan forum).

I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous/anxious about a football game. Hockey? Basketball? Sure. Not football. Excited to add another sport to get excited about :D

I doubt this will happen, but I really want to see Oregon play Alabama on the Orange Bowl. But I kind of think Clemson and Baylor will be chosen as at large teams and Oregon will have to settle for the Alamo bowl.

The way Oregon is playing lately, they would get blown out by Alabama (but then again Clemson & Baylor don’t have much of a chance either).

@romani Clearly.

I hope OSU loses more than I hope for MSU to lose. I like notrichenough’s reasons. Mess up the standings.

14th ranked NIU is down 2+ TDs to unranked Bowling Green.

Why are the stands empty for the SMU v. UCF football game? It’s at SMU and is a little cold but not New England cold so what is the deal?

Aint nobody from UCF is goin’ to Dallas for a football game!

A) Texans seem unable to handle below freezing weather
B) Nobody cares about UCF in Dallas

I know a family that was going to the game and they turned right back around. Lol They weren’t having it! (I wouldn’t either; especially, since this isn’t a matchup where they opposing teams give two hoots for the other).

Those last two seconds of Bedlam…

Boomer Sooner!

I’m liking the trend today/yesterday with the underdogs winning… ;)

It wouldn’t really “mess up the standings” if Michigan State won, you would just end up with the SEC Champion in the National title game.

No, it wouldn’t mess up the standings because we’re already in the top whatever (is it 14 that are for the big bowls?). But NIU and Oklahoma St losing certainly threw a bit of a kink in things.

To Romani and all the other Spartan fans students and alum  GO GREEN!

If Ohio St. loses, the SEC champion will only be in the title game if Auburn wins. Otherwise, probably Alabama would get the nod over Missouri even if Missouri is the SEC champion.

Go WHITE!

I debated driving out to EL tonight to watch the game… but alas, it’s finals week and just not happening :/

Doubtful, Alabama is only ranked 1 ahead of Missou and if Missou wins that gives them a win over the #3, pole vaulting them over a not playing Alabama
