<p>It has not been a great bowl season for nerd football, but Duke sure has been fun to watch this year.</p>
<p>My history (Midwestern girl, Wisconsin alum, now Oregon season ticket holder) led me to root for Sparty and hate Stanford. Woohoo!</p>
<p>Looks like Lovie Smith will be coming back to Tampa. The Bucs teams have always been built around their defense…hope Lovie ‘gits-r-dun’ with Bucs. Bucs offensive unit needs a lot of work and changes yet.</p>

<p>Most college football fans expect the Tide to roll Oklahoma tonight…Alabama is a 16-17 point favorite. I tend to be a contrarian…with the 17 point spread, I’d bet on Oklahoma. Baylor was a 16.5 point favorite last night against UCF…UCF ended up beating Baylor big time. </p>
<p>I think the season ended for Alabama with the Auburn loss.</p>
<p>If Alabama is motivated (no sure thing but Saban IS the best coach in football they roll by at least 3 TDs.</p>

<p>One of my best friends is from Alabama and has two degrees from Duke. He is not a happy camper.</p>
<p>I’m an OSU (Oklahoma State) fan but rooting for OU this time round. They are doing the big 12 proud.</p>
<p>Even UT fans are rooting for OU. They’re just happy Alabama is loosing.</p>

<p>Well, I was absolutely certain Alabama would beat OK bad bad bad and badly, but it was the other way around. I knew for certain that Alabama had the best offensive line in college football, but the OK defense sacked pretty boy A.J. plenty of times. </p>
<p>I was also absolutely certain FSU would destroy Auburn, but after seeing Alabama go down, I ain’t so sure. Can a Freshman QB win the national championship?</p>

<p>Yep. I love a good upset, so I’ve had a blast recently watching college football the last half of the season. </p>
