Are you ready for some football?

JJ Watt is not the same player this year. Or maybe everyone has figured out how to play away from him.

Not impressed with the job O’Brien is doing so far. The Belichick coaching tree is not bearing much fruit.

@notrichenough:
The belichick coaching tree has proven itself to be what it is, that the genius is still at NE. Romeo Crenel, Charlie Weiss, Eric Mangini, and I believe Todd Hailey, all were made head coaches because they were in the Bellichick system, and as head coaches they have at best underperformed (Mangini actually might turn into a decent coach, his problem among other things was he decided to imitate Belichick’s style, and that was a disaster). With coaching, Belichick’s assistants definitely are a product of the system, removed from the master and none of them has done very well.

Here we go Huskies, here we go! ‘7 Win Sark’ strikes again. I am so glad Sark hightailed it out of Seattle. But hey USC fans, don’t fret…you’ll get used to the Sark post-game loss press conferences where he says, once again…‘it’s my fault. We were out-coached.’ Yep.

I’m a USC fan, but Sark strikes me as a very unpleasant and somewhat immoral person.

@hayden: Seems to go with the territory, Pete Carroll basically bailed when he realized the gig was up, seems to be a feature of a lot of big time college football…whatever Joe Paterno’s faults were, other coaches if you ask them how low they can go, would say “got a shovel?”

Paterno never admitted what he did and didn’t do which was orders of magnitude worse than giving a kid a do-nothing job at a car dealership.

The sort of illegal “contact” by boosters was of a completely different kind.

Where’s xiggi when you need him??? Hook 'em!!! \m/ Go, Strong!!!

^Where is xiggi? I had heard he wouldn’t be on CC for a while.

Yep, he’s taking a break, maybe forever. But he’s logged on occasionally to msg me about football. I’m trying to bait him out.

Now we will find out if God is rooting for Wilson or Dalton

My opponent has Wilson so I’m rooting for him to not run or throw!

Well he hasn’t done much running or throwing all day so it looks like you’re in good shape

I know. I am shocked how low his points are, though he’s gotten two in OT thus far!

When was the decision made to sit Lynch?

He is injured with a hamstring - it was maybe Friday or Saturday though

Rawls has more than made up for Lynch being out though - Kam has missed some assignments up the middle to allow 2 TDs

i ask because my opponent didn’t sit Lynch. That may save me. She’s on the West Coast so I wondered whether the call was made this morning. She normally doesn’t mess up like that.

It kinda looks like God loves Dalton more at this point
