I got new nail polish and am waiting for my base coat to dry. Now I just need to decide if I join the ‘Bag A Week’ club to offload my Harvin shirt or just have a fireplace fire tonight while we watch Huskies v Ducks. Either way, the juju needs to be shifted with a grand, cleansing gesture.

On another note . . . I can’t wait to see JJ Watt tee off on Roethlisberger. That should be a fun game.

Oh saintfan you don’t know how much I’m ready for JJ Watt to cement his status as league and defensive MVP on Monday Night. I just want the Texans to actually pull off a win this week and get off this two game slide.

Yup, Saintfan. The Jets will do their best football tomorrow. Their second best day was when they had a bye week.

The Jets are now what the Mets used to be in the 60’s.

Does everyone have a second team to root for? I usually root for the Seahawks because they were my late brother’s team; but if they lose it’s not as painful as when the Jets do. Either that or I just have fewer opportunities to feel the pain with the Seahawks. The Jets are consistent in their horribleness.

I root for the Packers when they aren’t playing the Seahawks. A million years ago I had a BF from Iowa and he used to have a friend record the Packers games on VHS and mail the tapes out. I spent several years watching week old Packers games and still have a soft spot for them.

Penalties are still killing us but missing our starting center, middle linebacker, CB and back-up CB, TE and back-up TE and fullback isn’t helping. Okung has a torn labrum as well. We have pretty much no blocking. Adding the gimpy strong safety . . .
