Actually, the last CBA prohibits players and teams from re-negotiating contracts before the end of the third year of the player’s rookie contract, which hasn’t happened yet for Wilson.
The Seahawks currently have about $26mil available for 2015, but only 44 players under contract (including Wilson’s 4th year). Say goodbye to Marshawn, or maybe they can get Sherman to rework his contract to lower his $12mil cap number for next year.

It does just say it all, doesn’t it? I love how the 12 is on every office building, crane and even the hospitals! I am wondering if they’re going to break out the plane again this year. I sooooo want them to do that for the next game if we make it through Carolina. I could use a good flyover. That flight tracker was one of the best things ever.
Last year my brother who lives up there went to an event before the Super Bowl where fans could sign the giant “12” flag. I wonder if they’ll do that again, should they make it that far.
Yep - they took it to NYC and had photos of it in front of the Statue of Liberty then fans took it to the game. That flag is now in the Seahawks tunnel I think.
You can still get geared up for Blue Friday, LasMa, or at least do your toenails. I’ve got to get the polish out this evening. My workplace which is quite strict about dress code normally has given clearance for Blue Friday for the duration!

Saintfan, I did not know about the “12” flight tracker until you mentioned it. Amazing! And only in Seattle!
I am one of those moms who tracks my kids across the country so flight tracker is my friend. They had a 747 that was white (the base color) but had been a cancelled order so wasn’t sold. They pointed it up as a Seahawks plane then flew from Paine Field in Everett across the entire state in the shape of the 12 outline as you see it to the left. The plane did a flyover of the Superbowl victory parade. It is magnificent!
I felt silly actually watching the plane go on my computer but it was exhilarating.

I just asked DS and he thinks the plane is back to white but could be easily repainted. @emeraldkity4 does your DH know anything about the plane? If it is still available I bet they would do it again if we made it to the Superbowl.
If they do it again I’ll let you know - they had a rally at the Everett plant around the plane when they rolled it out. It was semi-top secret until then.
