Are you ready for some football?

Not sure.
He hosted a flag football tournament there a few months ago, that I attended, but maybe they will have Duff McKagan do it if he’s in town.

H says no idea about the 87. It was a surprise last year too. Although he doesn’t work in Everett.

DH is in Everett so I guess we will have a day or two notice if they do it

Just passed a white (Honda?) car with 2 Seahawks flags on it. It would not be surprising if it was in Seattle, but this was near Costco in Kapolei.

You are STILL there?

Ahhh…I’m so jealous!!!

I need a tropical vacation. Badly.

Wait, I’m confused about this Blue Friday thing that is supposed to be on Jan 10th. Saturday.???

My son got to meet and talk with Mike McCready awhile ago when he was a camp counselor, at a camp for kids with Crohns disease. He gave them a concert right there in front of the campfire. Apparently he is an awesome, extremely nice guy.

busdriver:

[In support of the Seahawks, Mayor Murray officially declared January 9th Seahawks Blue Friday.](http://www.seahawks.com/news/press/article-1/Mayor-Murray-declares-Jan-9-Seahawks-Blue-Friday/e0453399-00ef-4765-b588-5185a9bb7fe5)

Bus, if you google it, lots of last year’s links pop up. Jan 10, 2014 was a Friday!

This year, it is Jan 9 - today!

So in 2014, was every Friday in January a Blue Friday?

There are Seahawk fans all over!
Who else is Hawaii gonna root for? The Raiders?
I agree, busdriver, Mike is very sweet. So are his parents. He has been doing a tremendous about of fundraising for CCFA as well as other organizations as long as I have been following Pearl Jam, as has his wife.
I can’t wait to see him in Benaroya in a few weeks. I wish my dad was still around to go with me, he always had season tickets.

Kinda weird that our weather is slightly warmer than it is in North Carolina.
( to bring it back to topic)
Doesn’t it seem like the past year has gone by quickly? It seems like just last week I was buying Skittles to throw @ the parade!

Just texted D who lives in Seattle and asked if she’s observing Blue Friday. She had no idea what I was talking about. I never could get the kid interested in spectator sports of any variety. Where did I go wrong…

All Fridays before Seahawks games are considered Blue Friday. Today there are more rallies and whatnot and my workplace which is pretty strict about attire has declared Blue Friday. Many workplaces have Blue Friday clearance every week.

Even the accountants at work are all decked out today. I did my nails. There is a 12 flag flying below the American flag today.

Seattle, Seattle, Seattle.

Equal time for someone else:

Thanks @Youdon’tsay I was uncertain who I was going to root for and now I realize that it’s The Pack. I don’t want that America’s Team thing to get up a head of steam. Best to keep that tamped down and throw a little cold water on it.

Aha, now I understand, it was last years link! Going to be a great game tomorrow. My husband said if they make it to the Super Bowl he is going to put a massive 12 in LED lights on our roof…,we’ll see!

saintfan, earlier in the season on FB I wrote that “you can tell the Cowboys are killing it because people hate us again. It’s good to be relevant.”

Definitely rooting for Green Bay this weekend. Among other things, DH is a Cheesehead.

Ha! So true. The last few years they have ben too pathetic to be annoying. I guess you have to take comfort where you can find it. B-)

I’m excited for this weekend, as a fan. A lot of times the divisional round gives us for terrific games.
