Well, yea… that whole ‘warm’ thing, definitely won’t apply to Green Bay!
What is the deal with the Pats’ fans and singing “I don’t want to lose you love tonight”? Cracked ng ds1 and I up.
game over . . . wow!
live by the sword, die by the sword
Alright, this is it! Signing off to go get game ready!! GO HAWKS!
I can get behind the Hawks!
My son (from WI) and his girlfriend (from Dallas) are going to be at the game tomorrow. It shouldn’t be as cold as it has been this week. My daughter, who doesn’t even care about football, went to the Packers-Patriots game. It is killing their dad that both of them will have made it to Lambeau before he has!
^^^ When we go, we tailgate at the Green Bay Curling Club parking lot.
Claim to fame - it’s where the U.S. Olympic Curling Team trains!
They are so eager to give tours to anyone that comes through who has never seen the facility before. Even though we lived in WI for five years, it’s just a side to life I don’t think I could have ever understood, had I not seen it close and up front!
Even for a reluctant sports fan like me, it’s hard not to like the Packers. Since they are owned by the fans they really should be considered “America’s Team,” not the Cowboys. I love that when it snows before a game they put the call out to people to help shovel off the field. They pay $10/hour and have to turn people away–for some who do it it may be about the money but for others it’s just being part of the experience.
sally- I had no idea they were owned by the fans. What does that mean? I’m genuinely curious.
(I am not a football person- fiance has dragged me kicking and screaming into it and I can now get into college football but the NFL is still a mystery to me!)
We’re shareholders! One share for each member of our family. I think we paid $250/share when they were raising funds for the stadium upgrades three or so years ago. Of course, we’ll never get any money back on it, but we’re owners.
That is really cool.
reevaluates opinion of Packers
Still not moving to Wisconsin
Fine, but technically you should just let us have the UP.
Pops in with a little “Go Cam!” among the crowd of Seahawks fans
LOL!
Pick!

I’ll make you a deal- you can have the UP during the months of October-March and we can have it April-September. 50/50 split seems like a good deal, eh? ![]()
