We need Unger for next week
woot woot!!! running to change for tomorrow
First defending Super Bowl champion to win playoff game since 2005?
Well, wow. They’re playing like champs. It’s hard to see anyone beating them, not even the Pats.
You win again, saintfan!
GO PACK!!!
That was a quick costume change, Saintfan.
I had it all laid out on the bed and ran to change during the ads
If Dallas wins tomorrow, I’m going to have to ask family for a Seahawks jersey care package down here!
It always cracks me up when they call a football game “very physical” - are there football games that aren’t physical? (fantasy excluded)
Flag football.
Don’t hold your breath, dragonmom.
How about Cam Chancellor leaping over the line twice! Go Hawks!
I wonder if the league will outlaw that.
I also wonder why the Pats are getting top billing on SportsCenter, CNNSI, Google News, etc. I’d think the defending champs would be the #1 story.
Go Cowboys!
Everyone knows the Ravens are the Patriots’ kryptonite. But somehow the Pats pulled it out, after being down by 14 twice, and it was an exciting game to boot.
There was really no tension or drama in the Seahawks-Panthers game. The Panthers clearly aren’t in the same class as the Seahawks, and (at least for me) there was never really any doubt about who was going to win. So the Pats have top billing at the moment.
Plus, east coast bias, yada yada. ![]()
The Pats are many people’s pick to win the Super Bowl this year so if they hadn’t pulled it out there would have been a whole lot of brackets busted amongst football talking heads.
What surprised me was when Al and Chris said this is the best defense the Pats have had in years. DH and I just looked at each other with kind of a “what?” as the D looked pretty crappy to the casual observer. If that was extending themselves on defense then I’m not worried at all.
On the Flacco interception there is a picture of 4 Rutgers players involved in the play. The 3 DB’s for NE and an offensive lineman protecting Flacco.
@saintfan, your cat seems pretty darned tolerant. My cat, not so much…
We are tailgating now. Cats LOVE a good tailgate
