Are you ready for some football?

Holy Moley!!!

Green Bay didn’t choke. Seattle defense played harder in the 4th, got tough, the offense took risks and got to work. Fantastic. But we have work to do. We won’t survive a sloppy three quarters against the Patriots!

Ummm…was that Indy guy crying during the National Anthem?

Glad to see Largent on the winner’s stand. Wish Curt Warner and Jim Zorn were there. Where’s Dave Krieg?

So in summary . . . Baldwin, Kearse and WIlson had a really bad day for most of the game but they kept believing in each other as did the rest of their team because that’s what they do. They don’t get down on each other or hang their heads. They still continued to work together and pull together and battle. A lot of teams just get deflated and start blaming each other.

Ouch harsh @Nrdsb4‌

But I loved the game! I don’t know if this next game can top a performance like that

“but they kept believing in each other as did the rest of their team because that’s what they do. They don’t get down on each other or hang their heads. They still continued to work together and pull together…”

Saintfan, I love ya but this isn’t the Lifetime channel…it’s football.

^^^^LOL.

Come on . . . if you’ve ever loved and had your heart broken by the Mariners you’ve gotta remember Joey Cora

, I love ya but this isn’t the Lifetime channel…it’s football.

So does that mean Brady won’t cry, like he’s watching a Hallmark presentation?

^^^“There’s no crying in baseball.” Oops. I mean football.

Well now I am in a box; I’ve got a dear relative in Massachusetts whom is a die hard New England Patriots fan. If the Pats win tonight I know I can expect a slew of harassing phone calls and obnoxious emails.

Green Bay didn’t choke, but they played way too conservatively too early. This is on the coaches. And the guy who didn’t make a move on the ball on the two-point conversion. Oh, and the guy on the “hands team” who didn’t bring down the onside kick …

On second thought, it wasn’t only on the coaches …

Mariners broke my heart when they let the dadgum Yankees come back from a huge deficit and beat Seattle in the playoffs. And the Mariners won about 120 games that year!!!

Will we get to see Governor Inslee throw another long pre-game pass to his son this year?

This photograph, from the thread I started today, pretty much sums up Seattle today. As in “HOW did they get out of this game alive?!”

And yeah, that piece of metal used to be a pickup truck.

What was Wilson’s QB rating, how many INTs did he throw? Who the heck cares…

^^^^Yeah, does it really matter at the end of the day?

I was banished to the living room for most of the game. Every time I stepped into the family room, something went wrong, Seahawks-wise. OT, I didn’t even watch from the kitchen. The replays were great, though.
Heart and soul, heart and soul. Thrilled that my Husky, Kearse, came through. Yeah, he and Baldwin are definitely NFL-caliber players.

And I totally get the Joey Cora reference. He was #2Ds favorite mariner.

14-0 at the end of the first, might as well be 0-0 with how fast Luck can turn a game

We are watching with the sound down and listening to post game on the radio

That game probably took a few years off my life - my H says they should get rid of McCarthy. Disappointed doesn’t begin to describe it. :frowning:

The worst part: my son is the original Packers fan in the house - has idolized them since he was 2 - 20 years! He was at a three day retreat for work and didn’t get home until after the game was done. He went to GREAT lengths to not hear anything about the game all day and on his 1 1/2 hour trip home. Texted everyone he knew to not tell him anything about the game. Turned off his texting and accepting calls. Avoided all tv, radio - EVERYTHING. All because he was intent to watch it unspoiled at home. After the outcome, I was at first determined to tell him what happened and save him the heartache. But I decided against it - he went to such lengths to be able to watch it, that I have to let him experience it. SO NOW WE ARE WATCHING IT WITH HIM AND EXPERIENCING THE AGONY OF DEFEAT AGAIN!!! I hope he doesn’t kill me for not telling him!!!
