Are you ready for some football?

Argh, that was tough. And there’s heart and pulling together and being there for each other on just about every good team, in victory or defeat. So don’t act like it’s only in one place. The Packers are great for Green Bay and for the state of Wisconsin. We love them.

Congrats Seahawks. Go Colts!

I don’t like the head coach / play caller. I hated it when Holmgren did it for the Seahawks and I don’t think it helped GB today. I think it takes someone upstairs who has better vision and a cooler head.

I can’t imagine how you can fake it, @abasket. That’s gotta be tough

Abasket, he should be grateful that he has such a great mom! Not everyone will be willing to suffer the agony for the second time!

I’m not saying it’s only in one place just that without it they lose that game. For them today it was the difference.

I was lucky that I did not watch the second half of the Seahawks-Packers.

Now, go Patriots!

I can’t complain too much since the Pats are up 10 at the half, but I’m not real happy with how it is going. Patriots are leaving a lot of points out there.

On the other hand, the Patriots are 87-0 since 2001 at home if they have at least an 8 point lead at some point during the game.

My H came home from work and will NOT come in the room we are watching it - he cannot present his face without giving away the outcome.

But have to say, watching it the second time, I can see even more that the calls were bad to go for those repeated field goals.

I’m still not sure who to root for. I do really like Luck so I am sort of pulling Indy, but not with too much conviction.

Nate Solder with the TD what???

So last week it was the WR ineligible and this week the tackle eligible. That’s awesome

“Mariners broke my heart when they let the dadgum Yankees come back from a huge deficit and beat Seattle in the playoffs. And the Mariners won about 120 games that year!!!”

YES. That is why I stopped watching, I couldn’t stand another “almost” so soon.

abasket, I am sorry that you have to watch this again with your son. How awful. I can’t stand seeing my kids disappointed either, though they barely care about sports.

Hey . . . Nelson Cruz . . . talk about hope springing eternal

When you run a six man offensive line, one of the lineman has to report as an eligible receiver, essentially becoming a tight end. Colts completely failed to cover it.

This is why I had to root for NE. Sorry, Indy, but it just wasn’t meant to be. I really really want the Superbowl to be an exciting game!

““There’s no crying in baseball.” Oops. I mean football.”

Cry away, guys! It’s a lot better than a Sherman rant, so go for it. As the Pemco commercial says, we ARE a little different. And yeah, we wear socks and sandals too.

When I see my boy Solder flying through the air, I remember why I love the playoffs

WELCOME TO REVIS ISLAND ANDY!

Blount is rolling…

I did not want the Colts to lose that many points!

Hey! Speak for yourself @busdriver11!
