Ask Me, I Give Better Advice Than Mike

Why did you want to know?

Because your screen name says: laBLONDIE…

Okay people please do not scare my customers away! Now, shoo! there are better threads to have meaningless chitter chatter than here!

So then why did she need to ask? She just wanted to know so that she has a reason to hate me.

It’s not like I can change my genes, bendy deary.

UMMM okay. I think you are AMAZING, A-M-A-Z-IN! Okay, leave now! Bye! A tout l’heure!

wait I have a question,

Dear bend,
my mom thinks I’m addicted to CC… and she doesn’t like some of the topics that are discussed, how can I get her to leave me the hell alone?

Are You A Forensicator.

Dear Stuck (preferred customer…so far),
Try the S.T.O.P. method. When tense winds blow your way, you say “STOP” (hand up) and then go through the steps, S.-sit, T.-talk, O.-openmind., and P.-Pajama Partay!
In my opinion, this method is perfect for adults who always think they are right. Good Luck.

Bendy,

How old are you? Also, how would you compare your maturity level to those of the same age as yourself?

Dear The Blonde,
Seventeen.
-Bend

part b, please?

Dear bendrumfront,
I have yet to see how your advice is better than mine. You claim to offer no money down, but this is no different than ANYONE on this free site. Your answers cover little depth and at times, don’t answer the entire question. The only difference in this “better” advice, other than the lack of qualitiy, is the letter form, which is unnessecary in the age of technology. I don’t believe my first question was ever fully answered. Would you praytell, how your advice is better, when I not only give serious logical advice, but also answer in depth of all questions ask?

Dear Mike,
It is always in the best interest of the customer at hand to provide advice that is easy to follow, hence the short-winded answers. You comment on my “letter” form, it was only in my natural leanings to follow this, I do feel it is the only way to have communication with customers, it is what they deserve and it is only right and proper. My advice is inherently better because satisfying the customer is always my first desire. I give my customer’s 100%, utmost sincerity in all of their issues and conflicts. As to your first question, will you be seeing me at UChicago?, I naturally assume this is what you are referring to. I will repeat my answer, “hopefully,” that is if you get over this petty grudge you have about my taking advantage of the beautiful system of capitalism we have here in the great C. of C. I will be applying to UChicago this fall, crossing my fingers I get in, and if I do, well my life will be amazing, in short, because I love the school and refuse to hate anyone associated with it. Whether that is just immaturity or idolatry, I do not know, but I know I love the place.

Hope this helps,
Bend

@drum - I still don’t see where you answered my question before, and why do you insist on calling an advice column a business and the ccers as customers? There are no sales. We are non-profit oganizations. This isn’t capitalism but socialism, as we are handing out advice.

Dear Mike,
Please, I ask you use the standard letter form on this thread, so as not to confuse people with your frivolous technology. “Business” does not always imply a transaction of money, rather a communication where one person is providing and the other giving. This is not socialism, because if you examine the definition of the word you will find it implys exactly the thing you insist you are not, that is “A system based on public ownership of the means…and distribution of wealth.” There is no “wealth” involved in these endeavors, maybe the wealth of my heart, but that is the only “wealth” I would say. Even then I would not be lax with the word or I might scare off customers. Perhaps you are right I misused the word “capitalism” but in all truth I was referring to my ability to invest in an endeavor and compete with you.
I did answer your question the first time around, perhaps I forgot to use my stand letter writing form?

Signed,
Bendy

Alright guys, Bendy and Mike, to see which one of you is better at giving advices, both of you can advice me on my problem. In the end, I will evaluate those answers and decide in my case who has been better. In the business of giving advice, only the customer can decide who is better.

Q: I have a stomach ach, should I take tums or pepto bisma?

Q: What size envelope should I use for my college recommendation letters? Big Manila Enve. or Regular?

Dear Taekwondo39232,

I would delighted to answer your questions.
It depends on how sever your stomach ache is. I would recommend using pepto bismol. I find Tums leave a bad aftertaste and it looks too much like candy to be medicine. However, if you are going to be operating heavy machinery, do not use Pepto.

As to your second question, I find big manila envelopes to be inherently better, they will not wrinkle or crease the said recommendations. Regular sizes are liable to be lost and require you to fold your paper into weird, compromising shapes.

Hope this helped,
Me

@wondo - I’d appreciate it you’d ask on my forum, but whatever. Pepto Bismol is the obvious choice, due to its sustained progress in curing nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach and diarrhea. Ya Pepto Bismol. Tums is for gas.

Use a regular sized envelope, it will give off the impression that you are not wasteful in using your paper. How annoying is it to get a big box that contains only a small object inside!

Anyone who watches sex and the city is incapable of giving good advice. Sorry, just a fact of life.

Dear Bendrumfront,

A. You seem to have a habit of ignoring other people’s questions and favoring others. Is there a reason for this?

B. Aslo, what color are your eyes? I am guessing they are blue or a light shade or green…but moslty blue. If not, you are just a bad seed. Am i correct?
