asked to prom by airplane

so after school there was a airplane circling around our school with huge letters saying a “Becky Sturgis Prom? -Donia”

pretty cool way to ask someone

That’s amazing.

What a waste of bandwidth…

it’s ****ing prom. why do people bother with asking people like this? what’s wrong with:
“Will you go to _____ with me?”

^Yeah, I have to agree that the normal way is probably the best. That way, you won’t be absolutely devastated if rejected.

I think it’s a little too flamboyant to do it that way. It’s taking it too far, like the guy was doing it more for showing off his money or connections (I’m pretty sure it would cost plenty of $$ to do that) than trying to do something nice for the girl.

lmao. that is so cute. but then again how the hell can the girl say no. ulness she has a date already; otherwise you would definitely go.

A kid rich enough to afford that something that ridiculous would get beat up at my school.

Cause that’s boring. What a crappy way to commence the epitome of your high school social life.

Well, it’s also less creepy.

I’d feel bad if someone asked me that way. That’d probably be expensive; I’m not hard to impress.

My date asked me by coming to my house by surprise and being a bird and doing a prom dance for me.

(I’m obsessed with this bird on Planet Earth… I talk about it all the time: [YouTube - Bird Of Paradise](http://youtube.com/watch?v=7kBg_LxS9E0) when he flaps out all its wings and does its dance… then gets rejected :frowning: ) He made wings and a bright blue patch and did a “prom dance”.

It was cute and I was happy with it. To me, asking someone by airplane is a little over the top. Great, but over the top.

AeroEngineer3141, how is that boring? Most girls (and guys) I know are thrilled to just plainly asked like that, which eliminates any “boring factor” there could be. =P

Plus, I’m pretty sure the actual **dance **would trump the way you were asked.
