Assured Admission Criteria for First-time Freshman at Texas public schools

Are those criteria applicable to international students?

"Admission to the University of Texas at Austin is highly competitive for international students. Complete applications are reviewed on an individual basis after all materials and information related to an applicant’s educational background have arrived in the Office of Admissions.

Admission is offered only to the best qualified international applicants who are interested in being full-time, degree-seeking students. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee that an applicant will be offered admission. An applicant’s academic record should indicate excellent preparation for study in the proposed major field."

So I’m gonna go with “No” on that one.

International graduates of Texas high schools qualify for the automatic admission plan if they meet the academic requirements. However, there’s no automatic admission plan for international students not educated in Texas.
