Hello,
I am currently deciding where to attend college in the Fall and I am searching for advice. I’ve narrowed it down to two options- ASU Barrett or a smaller university in Virginia. I currently live in SW Virginia, but am originally from Scottsdale, AZ. While I love the Barrett environment, not to mention the warm weather and beautiful dorms, I am concerned about the difference in academic opportunities. While I like the Psychology program at ASU, I am worried they are lacking in proficiency in liberal arts such as history, classics, etc. which I am also interested in. I also a curious as to the opportunities ASU will provide for undergraduate research and how much priority is placed upon undergrads and Barrett students. Any information on liberal arts at Barrett would be greatly appreciated.
@kitkat502 Have you visited ASU/Barrett? There is a ton of information relevant to your questions just a little way down on this board. The Barrett website also is very informative. http://barretthonors.asu.edu/about/ The campus and curriculum are modeled after a liberal arts college.
