My two top choices for my undergrad degree are Arizona State and UCSC.
I want to possibly double major in legal studies/criminal justice and psychology, with maybe a minor in english or public relations
Im thinking of going to law school after i graduate
Which of these two do you think would be a better choice?
ASU is ranked 12th in the nation for criminal justice
but UCSC is a better ranked overall university…

Would you be in the Barrett Honors College at ASU? I think Barrett students are able to take classes at the law school senior year - that would be a nice perk if it could work out for you.

Aside from that - I would look at which school is less expensive for undergrad. Law school will add a lot of debt; and there are unemployed lawyers these days so I would make that a primary consideration.

If you get into Barrett and ASU is less expensive, go there. If you do not get into Barrett and ASU is less expensive, probably go there anyway and try to transfer into Barrett later. If UCSC is less expensive, go there. Given that the two schools are likely to provide similar levels of education once you factor in Barrett, the most important thing is minimizing costs as law school is expensive and student loan debt is life-crippling.

ASU 10char
