My daughter has to decide between ASU , University of Alberta and Calgary for CS under graduation. She is international student. cost and academics are important. Which one she should join?
First: does she want to be in Canada or the US? You’re asking about two different countries.

Finally we have to decide between University of Minnesota and University of Alberta. Alberta is cheaper by USD 45k over four years. what is the suggestion considering current and likely future scenario after four years
The commitment date for U Minn was May 1st. Do you have an approved extension? If not, I believe it’s on a space available basis after May 1.
You didn’t answer the previous question about affordability. Can you afford the extra $45k?

If you’re worried about the current political climate in the US, then Alberta is the answer.
If you’re asking about future employment opportunities, it’s hard to predict 4 years out but it’s unlikely to get any easier in the US IMO. I can’t speak for Canada as I’m unfamiliar with their rules for foreign students.
