I received an offer letter from University of Manchester to study the 4 year Master’s in Mechanical Engineering course, but it’s based on this ATAS certificate. Qoute “We cannot admit you to The University without an ATAS certificate.” Anyone else had to get this certificate? If I change my course to Bachelor’s in Mechanical, will I still need it? Btw, what is the exact procedure to change course after the application’s been submitted, for UCAS, i.e?
Thanks for helping :)

I read through the website, but no one in my country ever had to apply for this certificate, you see … there are so many things on the application, like ur university studies, published research papers, and employment histories. I don’t have any papers or stuff, since I’m just starting undergraduate studies. If my application isn’t approved (and there is a strong chance it won’t, based on the info they need on the application form), will I get rejected automatically? Are there any undergraduates applying to UK who’ve had to go through this process?

Email your university and ask about it.
