My son is interested in an ID camp (soccer) that runs two consecutive days. There are separate registrations for each day, and a registration option for both days together.
If he can’t attend both days (due to an immovable work commitment of his) should he offer that as an explanation to the coach? Or just register for the one, and leave it at that?
Register for the day he can attend and tell the coach he’s sorry he won’t be able to be there the second day, but he had a prior commitment.

In soccer one day is sufficient and all that’s expected.
I remember the Middlebury coach saying they only needed to see you for one day for them to form their opinion of the player. Seeing a player for more than that wouldn’t change their opinion. So there was no benefit to being seen more than once.
Day 1 features a tour, day 2 features a “college talk.” He’d be there for the tour, but miss the second day’s talk. I’m hoping there’s nothing in the talk I can’t learn from the seasoned experts here!
