<p>Nothing much, VCollege. I am DETERMINED to get some homework done tonight. This will probably be the first night where I’m staying up purposely (the other nights everything worked out nicely).</p>

<p>I definitely decided that I’m getting back into video games in college.</p>
<p>My computer of 7 years (mostly used for music, tv, etc) died recently and I’m stuck on a crappy laptop. I’m mos def getting a decent computer and getting into all the games I missed (Bioshock, Mass Effect, Crysis, etc)</p>
<p>Mass Effect is a really amazing package. But it’s not, like L4D, Halo, etc., a game that you’ll want to play multiple times. Much of its awesomeness is based in the story and making choices as to how various things develop - which results in much repetition and “I don’t feel like listening to this” when replaying.</p>
<p>Up-side? Mass Effect 2 is on the way.</p>
<p>Bioshock was great as far as mood and difficulty go.</p>
<p>Crysis was good, but when I got Crysis: Warhead I’d become bored with the idea - it just felt like more of the same and I didn’t want to play it. But it is beautiful.</p>
<p>Far Cry 2 is awesome until you realize you’re doing the same thing over and over again.</p>
<p>Unreal Tournament 3 is most excellent.</p>
<p>Warhammer 40k Dawn of War II was very well done. As an RTS (sort of) it has indefinite replayability with skirmishes.</p>
<p>Speaking of RTS games: You need to play Sins of a Solar Empire if you’re into those kinds of games.</p>
<p>Spore was a let-down.</p>
<p>… yep.</p>
<p>I haven’t played DoW2, but I was HOOKED on DoW when it came out. I loved that game to death.</p>

<p>I’m awaiting Starcraft2…maybe even Diablo 3 (if it comes out in our lifetime).</p>
