Hi. Wanted to start a thread for those who have 100% committed to Auburn for fall. S24 is really excited, nervous, all the normal feels about college. We are OOS from MA so will be a huge transition for him being so far away and being from OOS. He applied to be in the OOS RLC so he is hoping to get that. If not, he is still figuring out where to select for dorm (depending what is available on room selection day). He wants to go in as a single in an open room and not try to find a roommate ahead of time. Anyway, would love to see who else has committed. War Eagle 
D24 just committed as well. We live in northern NJ, so are also concerned about the transition and figuring out logistics, but she loved it when we visited. She applied to the Engineering RLC - hoping those decisions come out soon. The whole housing thing has been a bit stressful!
I agree the housing situation is stressful. He thought he would find out about the RLC Friday, as that what he was told when he called, but now they are saying this coming week. If he does not get the RLC his assigned room selection day/time stinks so we will keep fingers crossed he gets RLC.
S24 committed as well (we’re in-state). He was accepted to the Honors College and the Honors/Engineering RLC. He’s super-excited!
Mine just found out he got the OOS RLC!
D24 got into Engineering RLC - she is really happy!
Not sure if you are on Facebook but there is a private group for Engineering RLC- if you are part of the Auburn Parents Facebook page, the person who created the group posted it on there with a link to join.

There are a lot of Facebook groups for Auburn Parents. There is a general one, one for your kids year, honors college, RLCs, fraternity rush, sorority rush, nearly every dorm and off campus housing complex, alt sublets, rentals for visits, athletics, majors, etc. highly recommend checking them out as you will find a lot of info there and if your questions weren’t answered you will find many willing to help. Anyone have a map of South Donahue that shows the room numbers, trying to see what rooms look out over the baseball field, and the courtyard
