Honestly, I prayed for deferral or acceptance because so many kids get in later rounds. I bet your student will get in soon.

So can any of the ‘old-timers’ tell us when the housing race begins? Is it November 5th?

:eagle::eagle:My son was accepted. Tears of joy :sob: WDE :eagle::eagle:

Building Science major. 3.7 GPA, 24 ACT (Yes low but could be worse right), we are technically in state but they categorized him as OOS because he went to school overseas for 2 years (Army Civilian). Now I have to submit a ton of paperwork to get that reversed.

I honestly feel like I put him in the right place this summer by having him do the Auburn Construction Camp. He was 1 of 2 top presenters for the camp (about 20 campers). He was in place for connections and networking. The staff just loved him. They told him “let us know when you apply”.

Yes around that date

Yay!! Mine thankfully had their game last night so I didn’t have to wait around for them to check.

Sorry, just seeing this. No, they didn’t send anything to parents … only an email to students about an “admissions update”.

For those that got deferred, please know that the chances are still very good! If you look at past years, so many that were deferred first round got in later and at times, even before they expected to hear. Sometimes this stuff is so hard to understand and almost feels like someone is flipping a coin. Best wishes to all!

:100: The deferral for my son 3 years ago lasted 6 months but was so worth the wait! Livin’ his best life right now.

Deferred 4.08 OOS, does anyone know if they’re deferred to regular decision? Or how it works? Letter doesn’t say. Just says “they’ll continue to be evaluated”.
