No GPA update yet for EA2.

Do kids still get invited to ZeeMee if aren’t accepted? I wouldn’t think they would send out an invite just days before notification and then have the student here ā€œnoā€ā€¦seems like a good sign if they were sent the link…?

I don’t know. It said she was invited to their community for ā€œinterested studentsā€ so we just weren’t sure if it was just a coincidence that she got it the same week as she’s supposed to hear? Would be kind of brutal to get that invite and then not get in though? :woman_shrugging:

That’s what I am thinking too. If it was for interested students, then it could have been sent to them when they submitted their application…just thinking…we’ll see how this week goes… :crossed_fingers:

Just got an invite for War Eagle Day. Applied EA2. Hoping that’s a good sign!

DS accepted back in October and has never received an invite to ZeeMee

I had twins apply in EA1, one accepted and one deferred. The one accepted had his GPA in the portal a few days before the one deferred did. eventually they were both there though.
Not sure if it’s coincidence or means something. Good luck, that waiting is awful!

DD accepted EA1 and has not received ZeeMee either.

DD has not received a ZeeMe email, but we did just get a War Eagle Day invite email (we’re already signed up so kinda weird).

Are their stats similar?

We attended this past weekend, and we received another invitation today. I think they send them to all applicants, regardless of application status.

Yep

My daughter has not yet decided if she even wants to apply, and she received the zeemee and the WED invite this week. I don’t think there’s much to read into with that.

A note about ZeeMee…it’s a great resource for meeting potential roommates and classmates, BUT really anyone can join. A lot of ā€œpotentialā€ or ā€œhopefulā€ students join, so just be aware that not everyone on there will actually be an Auburn student. Just something to keep in mind if looking for roommates.

Likewise. OOS DD who is an EA2 applicant received a War Eagle Day invite yesterday (11/13). DD immediately registered for the only remaining day (11/23). Registration quickly closed. I am uncertain as to what it means, if anything, since War Eagle Day invites appear to have been continuously extended over the last few months. Pins and needles here at least for me. Hoping DD will hear tomorrow.

Not sure the WED means much. My EA1 had signed up for 11/23 WED and then when she was accepted in Oct, her admissions rep said that WED is going to be a repeat of a lot of the tour day and since she’s been accepted it might be better to wait until admitted students day. So we cancelled WED. And then a few days ago we got a ā€œwe hope you’ll join us for WED on 11/23ā€ email??? So it seems like mainly marketing perhaps a for a certain ACT? Not sure but it certainly wasn’t tailored to her since we enrolled and cancelled and were reinvited as if the whole thing never happened!

Thanks. I didn’t think this late invite meant anything. Notwithstanding, since DD hasn’t been on an official tour, we have decided that provided she has the good fortune to get in (tomorrow maybe?), we will make the drive up to see what’s up (even though the kids will be gone for break).

Makes sense. We are a plane ride and time zone away, so saving up for big trips. Good luck tomorrow!
