EA2 came out last night around 8:45 eastern.
My daughter was EA1 but her boyfriend was at our house when the decision email came. He’s been accepted too! Both out of state. She has a GPA of 4.28 and no test scores. He has a GPA of 4.6 and SAT of 1400.

Daugher was admitted OOS. Her Auburn email is set up. Does she now have to wait for an email about the housing applications?

I’m curious too. My son deferred EA1 w/ 1240 SAT which is similar to some EA2 deferral stats people have shared so far.

Does Auburn have admitted student day?

No, looks the same as before. Still deferred. No update.

But he didn’t make any changes since the EA1 decision was released. He didn’t add a new SAT/ACT score and he didn’t submit the supplement yet. He’s going to submit semester grades and he will do the supplement, so he probably won’t hear until the final decisions are released in March.

Hi again. It is helpful to let others know GPA and ACT. We don’t know who you are or your child so your information is just helpful to those deferred, accepted or denied. Helps parents and students have more information. Thanks!!

Was your son told to submit mid year grades and additional SAT scores? Our daughter was. She is OOS 1240/3.87. I’m seeing students accepted with GPA’s as low as 3.4 but have an SAT above 1300 which appears to be the magic number for the EA rounds. My daughter will continue working on her current senior courses and retake the SAT in December. She has been accepted at her number 2 school so that is reassuring. Auburn is her number 1. Good luck to your student.

FYI you can see the average for admitted, deferred and denied students on the Auburn website under Fall 2025 Admissions Decisions (for both in state and OOS).

Thank you this is helpful!

Sorry!

Same OOS Son deferred 1250SAT 4.1WGPA. Right on the cusp it would seem looking here and with classmates who were accepted with just 10pts higher on SAT. He will retake SAT in Dec and submit current grades. Seems SAT, while ā€œtest preferredā€ is the deciding factor.

With regard to merit scholarships, my daughter was accepted in EA1 (OOS 1370 SAT, 4.2 GPA) and we are waiting to hear about the first round of merit. Anyone from EA1 see a merit award yet? I know ā€œmid-Novemberā€ is the published release date.

Last year only the top tier OOS merit awards were released in November. The lower tiers trickled down in Dec and Jan. The website shows there is not a Dec award this year, so might not be until early January.
