<p>How much would auditing a course, or dropping out of a course, affect college admissions? I’m probably going to do so, as one course (Photography) is driving me insane, but I’d like to know the consequences of doing so.</p>
<p>I don’t know about dropping courses, but I asked the Caltech rep who came to our school about auditing, and he said that while it doesn’t necessarily hurt, they take auditing of classes with a grain of salt because they can’t know to what degree you did the work in that class.</p>
