<p>We’re holding auditions for the official cast of a new thread called A Thread With Substance. Basically, say why you will be a unique cast member. For example, GreenDayFan is a firebrand liberal from the Northeast, or person X is a poor guy from Appalachia. The role must be an accurate description of you. 5 members will be chosen, and basically, they will post a daily account of their lives, and the other 4 cast members would freely respond to each other’s posts. They must stay true to their stated persona.</p>
<p>Um, my name is Amy and I am also a liberal (but I live in a very conservative Southern Ohio town). I’m an AP student who likes to party all the time and I generally don’t do my homework. I like long walks on the beach (oh wait, there are no beaches in my town…), sitting by the fireplace with my significant other (if i had one), and reading british literature (especially James Joyce). so pretty much, everyone should choose me!!!</p>
