Australian Open 2013

I wonder if we’ll be able to get AO TV.

FerV/Goffin and Julien/Dimi matches might be interesting.

I doubt it. Do you have ESPN?

[Watch Live Sports Events and ESPN Programs Online and on Mobile Applications - WatchESPN](<a href=“Watch ESPN - Stream Live Sports & ESPN Originals”>Watch ESPN - Stream Live Sports & ESPN Originals)

If you log in with your service provider account they have streams for every court, really HQ.

Yes, I have ESPN and TC.

I forgot about 360 or whatever they are calling it now. Thanks for the heads up!

So much for exhibitions. Tipsarevic’s game lines up well against Rusty. I think that Hewitt prefers playing the big bashers.

Nishikori played like crap but got through. Knee does not look good. Yay Venus beasting! Ouch for Hewitt, wanted him to win. Tipsarevic is a loser in tennis and in real life.

“So much for exhibitions. Tipsarevic’s game lines up well against Rusty. I think that Hewitt prefers playing the big bashers.”

It was a cracker of a match, though.

I don’t really Tipsarevic because of some misogynistic comments he made some time back but he has an incredible backhand. Dimitrov is out already

Federer has a tough draw…he might face Tomic in R3. That should be an interesting fight-hopefully Tomic takes it.

Also, I’ve heard Ferrer being called a ‘vulture’ before but only 6 250 tournaments count towards your ranking, so playing so many doesn’t really make sense :/.

I watched a little last night. I was rooting for Steve Johnson (USA, last years NCAA champion), at least he went 5 sets against the #10 seed!

^me too. I cannot stand Almagro - he’s an ***.

I spent most of the night watching FerV/Goffin. Entertaining choke fest.

The Tomic hype is so uncalled for. He’s such an arrogant idiot and I can’t wait for Federer to trash him, if he even gets that far.

^ Yay, we finally agree on something! He’s a wanker.

I was so proud of my Pat for kicking him off Davis Cup. :)

I watched some of the Almagro match. He was playing a clay court game which wasn’t working out so well on hard courts.

Tipsarevic is dangerous. Sometimes he plays lights out and can beat some pretty good top-ten players and other times it seems like his head isn’t in the game.

^ That’s because he doesn’t have a hard court game.

Tipsy is definitely a head case, one of many on tour.

Djoker fans here. But really ticked off that our cable company is fighting with Tennis Channel so we don’t get it. Only ESPN2 coverage, which starts later. I can’t see DS (hs senior) getting much sleep over the next couple of weeks as he will be watching.

I’ve never said this before but both the Sharapova and Williams matches were totally boring last night.

Agree that Tipsarevic is dangerous. We’ve seen him play some crazy matches at the US Open.

Glad to see tennis fans here!

I want Federer to win. Despite being over 30, he still dominates the game (with more difficulty against Murray, Berdych, DelPo, and Djoko).

LINYMOM, if you go the the AO site you can listen to the coverage on AO Radio. I listen a lot. The comms are a quite fun to listen to, but also do a great job of describing the play to play.

I see results looking like this:

Djokovic
Serena
Bryans
Williams
Who cares about mixed doubles lol.

Though the Bryans are kind of spotty sometimes so they could lose in a SF or something (draw isn’t out yet) and at the US Open Serenus tanked against Petrova/Kirilenko, who they destroyed at Wimbledon (yea, grass, I know - I actually watched that match! Had tickets for women’s singles final, men’s doubles final, and some extra matches!).

^
Yeuch
Yeuch
Yeuch
Yeuch.

Not saying I like Djoker. Nadal’s my fave of the big four. Murray’s the worst.
Love Serena and there’s no denying she’s the best women’s player now, and I’d argue ever.
Bryans have 4738294637829 titles, don’t even.
You know my opinion.

I didn’t say you did and I certainly am not going to argue with your picks.

As usual, I will be hoping for several horrid twists of the ankle during the fortnight.
