Australian Open 2013

It’s all about the Legends for me. Cahill and Mats are playing dubs together. :)

Watching Raonic-Fed right now. Raonic has a ton of potential but you could say that about him for the last two years. Out of curiosity, I looked up his record against Ferrer. Ferrer’s record against Raonic is 4-0.

Power isn’t everything.

Okay, that was pathetic. The number of UFEs was incredible.

Ferrer, don’t you dare knock out Nishikori and then lose to Almagro.

I do like Almagro’s backhand though. It’s been lightning quick this match.

This match, HILARITY.

Loving this match :)

13-0 NID

Bird shaking head

Well, at least he got a set off him. Berdych played up to his seeding.

Speaking of celebrations, remember when people used to jump the net…

Yup.

I think that they’re too tired after matches to do that and who wants to risk injuries these days.

^^^ Indeed. When my 42 in. standing vertical went to about 4 inches I abandoned the practice years ago. But I’d like to think I put the super in super senior…

Oh GOD Serena just break! Thank God she’s at least playing Sloane Stephens who always makes sure to choke.

YASSSSSSSSSSSSSS

And on a stupid error from Sloane <3

I have no reason to live anymore.

Stephens did a great job. Congrats to her. She is an up and comer…

Not surprised at Serena’s behavior. Some things don’t change. Good for Stephens.

There is a Tennis God. :)

Serena was not moving well at all after the back injury, if you watched her footwork, so wasn’t moving her feet at all. And her serve was not as effective as the rest of the tournament, but she does not handle adversity well. I was rooting for Serena, but am happy that Sloane Stephens won. Hopefully she can beat Azarenka. I didn’t see the Federer match, and was kind of surprised it went 5 sets, but I am glad he won. I wish I didn’t have to work so I could watch more tennis!

I like Sloane despite her horrible on court intelligence, but now she’s given Azarenka a bye to the final. I just hope Li Na can save us all and win her second Grand Slam.

I set my alarm for 3:30 and watch the entire Tsonga/Federer match. Tsonga played /sooooooooooooooooooooo/ good but after getting broken in the last set he lost confidence.

Tsonga is a world-beater on the right day - unfortunately he just doesn’t have that many right days.

Any reason why you guys have written off Sharapova? She is playing well at the moment. I think she is the favorite for now. In the men’s side, Djokovic looks unbeatable.
