I have a B in my freshman year, does that eliminate my chances of getting into top schools that do look at freshman year?
My school is pretty competitive, but what can I do to make it up?
No
Definitely not. Just try to do as well as you can in the future, and get good test scores. I wouldn’t worry about it. I got a few Bs early on in high school, and I just graduated with a 4.4 GPA and 34 ACT. I didn’t apply to any selective schools, but I probably could have gotten into some if I wanted.
A B is not the end of the world you must remember even Bill Gates failed a couple times in his life and having a B does not even mount to being a failure. You just have to do your best on the next classes and don’t stress because everything works out fine and focus on doing EC too.
Ok that’s pushing it a bit but I agree with the argument as a whole
lol it doesnt matter. I’ve gotten so many B’s in my life and I’m still alive. One B wont kill you. A C is a different story though.
