Bachelors in microbiology?

Hi, I want to apply to an American University for a bachelors in microbiology.

My grades in O levels were,

A English

C Maths

C Physics

C Biology

D Chemistry

I have 3 AS Levels and 2 A levels ( I didn’t give A2 Chemistry)

AS Level = Physics B, Biology D and Chemistry E.

A2 Level = Physics D, Biology D.

I have a score of 1850 on SAT.

What are my chances of getting into a good college for bachelors in microbiology plus what are the major options after completing my bachelors + job opportunities?

You might be surprised to see me pursue this field in spite of very mediocre grades in O and A levels but the truth is a lot of external factors were involved in my low score and a lot of family issues which thankfully are over now and I am ready to start fresh :)

I’m not surprised at all. Once you get into college, high school will be nothing but a phase for you. College is where the real deal begins…
I think you should apply to CC’s or lower tier U’s and then transfer once you’re there.

to be honest, i personally think u r better off going to a Pakistani uni for a few years and then transferring! or perhaps masters in usa?
im not sure if cost is an issue in ur situation, but not only will it cost u less, but it will also look much better on ur resume …
i also suggest that u start thinking of a new career? u seem to have an A in english and u sound good at it as well… microbiology with a D in bio doesnt look good at all…even if u didnt prepare u will need to show unis tht u r capable of handling it…and some transfer unis do ask for school transcripts btw…
