Does Barnard release acceptance decisions the same day as Columbia?
no, last year they released after ivy day. i wouldn’t expect it to be earlier this year

Last year they released on Wed Mar 29 while Ivy Day was the following day, Thr Mar 30
ohhhh okay, i looked it up and it seems that they did that in 2022 as well. speculate 3/27 then?
Received email that results will be notified on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 around 7:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

I know it means nothing, but my sister’s Barnard portal updated that FAFSA was accepted. Quick question, what the heck is the FAFSA signature page? The Barnard Financial Aid portal says that’s missing, but we are unsure what that is. Any ideas on what this is? Even the FAFSA website is unhelpful.

I just checked and I have the same thing on mine. No clue how to access the form.
Allegedly the entire checklist bugged out for a lot of people. The FAFSA signature page popped up as missing and is said to be a bug. However, it seems like it’s asking other applicants for other documents (saw this on Reddit). Unless otherwise informed by the Financial Aid, safe to ignore the new missing documents!

OMG I got waitlisted!!! I’m honestly not too upset about it because I was really expecting a rejection…Idk how good the odds are of getting off of the waitlist, though. If anyone has any insight on that I’d love to hear it!

Congratulations! Waitlist stats will change year to year, but it felt like a lot of people got off the waitlist last year. You can look at the 2027 waitlist thread to see. Barnard has not released the common data set for last year yet, so it’s just antidotal.

got waitlisted too! i don’t even know how to feel!!! there’s a good chance we’re not hearing anything back until may, so get ready for the waiting game i guess. at least we’re in this together!!
