Baseball Playoffs

Braves shouldn’t have played last night in the rain. One player is already getting an MRI today because of it.

What do the Cubs do with a lineup that can get shut down so easily so often? It’s happened way too many times this year.

And only one run in the last two games!

Honestly, I can’t focus in on the playoffs until the season ends and playoffs begin.

Rockies are going to win out. Just like 2007.

Cubs and Brewers have both clinched a playoff spot and are now battling for the division.

Too nervous.

OK I can focus a little now.

Rockies won and are a game up on the Fodgers. And the Giants play the Fodgers this weekend. Go Giants!

The title of this thread… What are “playoffs”? Is that baseball games our Mariners don’t get to play?

/ signed: a clueless Seattleite. Wink.

It’s down to the wire in the National League central and west. There may be 2 game 163"s on Monday.

Super exciting–Brewers/Cubs and Rockies/Dodgers both tied going into game 162! Woohoo!

Will cheer for Cleveland who now has two of our most popular Jays in recent years, Edwin Encarnacion and Josh Donaldson. Will cheer for whomever Houston plays against since our least popular, and domestic abuser, Roberto Osuna is now an Astro.

@alwaysamom GOOD! We can cheer together.

Go Tribe!

How’d that series go? I haven’t followed the box scores for a few days

More seriously, this is so exciting! MIL-CHI tiebreaker, COL-LA tiebreaker, losers play each other in the Wild Card game! October baseball rules

It’s Rocktober!

And regular season stats still apply to the game163s.

Meanwhile, the Braves still don’t know who’ll they’ll play…

None of the NL teams know who they’ll play, who will be the home teams. Atlanta has the worst record so should be #3, with the winner of the wild card playing the Cubs/Brewers (central champ) and the then Atlanta playing either the Rockies/Dodgers, whoever wins the NL West.

Not well, but at this point the Giants don’t have two sticks to rub together. However, the bright side is that when the Dodgers do ultimately lose, their disappointment will be greater. :-bd

BEARS! OK, so I live 6 blocks from Wrigley and I am moving my office and can’t take off, even though Monday is my day off… Aghh…

Thought I was going to send my son a clinch t-shirt today… Well hopefully tomorrow… CUBS!

Speaking of disappointment, @sushiritto , it was “Fan Appreciation Day,” and a lucky attendee won a truck. Turns out that the winner was a Dodgers fan

It’s just stupendous amazing how the Cubs offense can be so easily shut down.
