Does anyone know what the Achievement Gold Scholarship is?

I am so, so sorry. I can sort of imagine (similar experience), but to get all the way there and then be stuck in your hotel. What a disappointment! I saw on the news that this is a storm of the century.
We drove through a winter storm last week to get to our local airport because it said the flight was on time and the weather at our connecting airport was good. Walked in and they said they just cancelled the flight and we can get you there tomorrow night (after daughterâs scheduled campus tour and dept. meeting). Drove back home through winter storm, thankful to get home safe, but with a very disappointed kid. Trying again next weekend. These poor kids know a lot about disappointment, sadly.

Hi, I just had to respond to your post. We flew to Texas last week (from California) for a campus visit last Friday. As we arrived in Waco we learned our visit was cancelled due to the ice storm. We did our best to salvage the trip and used the self guided tour available on the website. You are able to reach almost all the stops by car and we got out on foot for a couple of the stops. It was not perfect but having been on a lot of college tours with older children I can say it felt very much the same as a regular tour. I hope this helps and please be careful. Its very icy!!

I was told it was an academic scholarship that could be renewed each year. That was it. Eager to see what it comes out to.
Does anybody know about the timeline for notification for the Carr P. Collins Scholarship?
I selected my application to be early action but instead met regular admission because there were somethings that stopped me from completing it by that time. I submitted everything by 12/8 but still havenât heard anything back. Has anyone in regular admission heard anything back yet? Iâm starting to get worried.
My daughter had applied regular admission but she got her decision when other early action applicants were getting it.
There is nothing indicating that in my daughterâs account under Connect and Visit either. It just lists the upcoming tour we have scheduled on campus in March. However, based on her major she is eligible for the 2nd round only for I2E, so she hasnât even learned if sheâs made it to the next round or not.
Whew! That makes me feel better - we emailed her admissions counselor but havenât heard back yet why the scholarships have disappeared from her portal. We did receive an email today that says they wonât be announced the Round 2 notifications for scholarships until MondayâŠ

They sent out an email today stating that due to the electricity problems in Waco, they were delaying the decisions until February 22.
My OOS son from Georgia applied RD and got his decision and merit award about 2 weeks ago. We got an email, and then about a week later a packet with an acceptance letter. He applied around the beginning of December.

Curious, when did they say that, as an email was sent out a few days ago that these notifications would be released Monday, February 22 due to weather conditions in Texas? Has something changed? Please advise.

It says on Baylorâs website that notifications for I2E second round are now February 22.
