Has anyone gotten an update of their award monies for the first round of I2E? Is not everyone suppose to get at least the $1,000?
I havenāt gotten anything. I keep checking bearweb but I guess the power outages have slowed them down. If nothing changes in my account by Monday I may try to contact them about it.
What a mess down there. Weāre going to give these poor people a generous amount of time to get BearWeb updated. Baylor has been reliable and accurate with nearly everything (other than a system snafu with our FAFSA and CSS Profile loading back in November). Everyone there has been a cut above in terms of communication, etc.

Yes and could be, hopefully they are Ok and just behind due to weather issues.

I know at least one of the dorms had a pipe bust and flood it, so who knows what else theyāve been having to deal with!
Most definitely. The message in GoBaylor said it would show up in several days so I wasnāt even expecting it to show up this soon anyways, I just find myself checking out of anticipation.
If you are offered merit where will that show up? Do they let you know with acceptance?

It will show on the portal. Yes, the merit aid came with acceptance for us.

Just checked my daughterās portal, and thereās an update under āConnect and Visitā for Round 2 scholarship info. She did not get I2E but did get invited back for Distinguished Scholars Day. Yay!

Our BearWeb updated. Academic Gold was $3k per year. Unfortunately that means Baylor is out for us. Iām so sad. 
Hey everyone, my son just checked his GoBaylor portal and he was selected to continue to Round 2 for Invitation to Excellence! We are so happy for him. Does anyone have any advice for him/us? Thx!
Iām not saying Iām ungrateful, but was rather surprised that it was only 3k. Does everyone get this amount, or does it differ based on student?
Same for my daughter. She really knows very little about the details of the upcoming process. Congratulations!

Hi everyone, I also got into I2E and I know very little about the details of the program and it is a little nerve-wracking. I was wondering if anyone knows any important details or advice that they would be happy to share. Also, we can take a virtual tour and have it count correct?

I did not receive the full scholarship, but I think that one of the most important things is to make sure you show your true self (goals, passions, etc). And yes, virtual tour counts.
