Daughter applied 10/26 accepted 11/12 with merit scholarship
Mine applied EA 10/31, just got accepted today with 120K merit scholarship. Yay! Finally! I was so nervous.
ok, i guess i will continue waiting
For a Premed major (Bachelors), Which one is is better - Baylor or UT Austin? Why? Especially when one gets a 120k+ merit scholarship in Baylor thereby keeping the per year expense at Baylor (tuition + stay + food) under 50k?
Applied 10/12 and still waiting
Update: Applied Honors Program and accepted the next day. Theyâre either really efficient or maybe not very selective with Honors Program.
I2E invites are out, check the events tab on the portal.
Anyone get a Scholars Day invitation yet?
D26 got Baylor2Baylor invite.
We got an invitation to something called âInvitation to Excellence.â Attending came with an extra $20K added onto D26âs scholarship. However, neither date of the event worked for us. We also could find very little as to what the itinerary for the event would be.
Is it for medical track ? Any insight on how the event will be and whatâs the format of thr event for bsmd applicants ?
Applied 11/1 EA- havenât heard anything
Yes, itâs for medical. I heard, based on others who attended previous years, that about 100 are invited for each weekend for B2B, they do some group work, presentation, write an essay, the group (200) are narrowed down further, around 25 gets interviewed by Baylor Med School and final 6 get picked for BSMD program.
Anyone going to I2E or B2B event next weekend and is there anything we need to do to prepare? Is Friday evening just a meet and greet mixer sort of thing and is it for students only? I thought Baylor would send a more detailed itinerary closer to the date but I guess not.
I2E event this weekend is cancelled because of weather. In case anyone was scheduled to go and missed the email. Baylor sent out email yesterday.
