When do the acceptances come for Baylor early action ?
DS was accepted today. No email notification, was just checking on portal and acceptance letter was there. Also with sig merit scholarship.

DD was accepted today! She got an email asking her to log in to her account.

DD was accepted a couple of days ago with a nice merit scholarship.
We were very pleasantly surprised since decisions were supposed to come out in February. Having an offer will be very nice psychologically as we get into the main decision season.

son got the special email last Friday 10/24 with a merit scholarship details for engineering program.

Has anyone heard anything recently? i am ED and going crazy when could i find out?
Is a $30K per YEAR merit-scholarship at Baylor University (for premed course) a good scholarship amount? OR, do students get more merit-scholarship?
Reading that if you are invited for Invitation only sponsorship programs then would get more scholarships in the range of another 5-6k pre year. Still the overall cost for an year stands around 80k before scholarships. So if ready to shell out 40-45k even with all other scholarships accounted for then probably yes, if not, no.
In our case, no.
Did anyone get email from Baylor saying based on your academic record, you qualify to apply to “Elite Academic Programs” but didn’t get acceptance to Baylor email yet?

We got many of those emails the last couple of days, and ended up getting a decision yesterday.
@blawblaw Thanks. What is “Invitation only sponsorship programs“? Assuming the student has gotten $30K per YEAR merit-scholarship mentioned in the acceptance letter, can the student expect another $5K+ (in addition to the $30K) throug the “Invitation only sponsorship programs“?
Yes, here is the link (https://honors.baylor.edu/admissions/meet-us-learn-more/invitation-only-scholarship-events) about the invitation only events. We got couple of emails lately saying son eligible for Elite programs asking to submit applications for them for Honors and other society. They were listed in the goBaylor application portal where they get their admission statuses.
Reading about Invitation Only events from previous years states that they will be invited in mid Dec to attend in person in their campus and get those additional scholarships (5-6K per year) beyond the 20-30k mentioned in their admission letters. You can check some of the old threads here from previous years.

We haven’t heard anything either and application submitted 10/31 EA so it’s really discouraging. Seems like lots of people got their decision. Getting really nervous.
We applied back in September, so perhaps that resulted in our early reply. They have only had your application for 19 days at this point.
That I’m not sure of. We just happened to get a lot of emails to apply to the honors program, and finally we got the special email a couple days later.
We also heard back a couple days later after we got an email confirming the application file was officially complete, so really just about being lucky I think.
