Accepted!!
Congrats @Danno2273 !! My son was accepted as well !!
EA or ED? My son applied EA and I am not seeing any updates yet. Thanks!
@Amy0702 EA my son submitted app on 8/25.
Keep an eye out tomorrow, as well as, Thursday and Friday next week.
EA accepted with a Baylor Distinction merit award ($120k over 8 semesters). Our first non-rolling acceptance.
Mine got accepted today too! Happy to see the merit award now instead of waiting until Jan/Feb like the last few years. Helps with the decision making process and having time to really think and compare options.
Accepted. Great to see merit scholarships this early as well! A welcome surprise tonight and a happy household!
My daughter got in today, as well, and got a distinguished merit award. Waiting to see if she gets an invite to I2E or DSD.
Congrats to those already finding out! I have a junior at Baylor, nice to see merits are going out before February. My twins are waiting to hear back. Curious as to the majors accepted so far?
Neuroscience
Son got the acceptance tonight. EA, BS in Biology. He got a distinguished merit award and registered for DSD.
Chemistry. Received merit scholarship but no invite to DSD yet. Possible still coming but thrilled none the less!

Admitted! The merit offered is about double what my very similar stat child received two years ago. (didnât enroll at Baylorâthe price was still so high and he had better offers). Our Baylor rep said they were making an effort to increase merit this year and it appears to be true. Our college counselor said itâs been very low for 3 years or so.
Congratulations to all who were admitted and with scholarships! My son just submitted his EA application this week so we have awhile to wait. Like others Iâm so glad to see they decided to go back to releasing merit with the acceptance! My D20 got her merit award with her acceptance and it really helps build excitement. She didnât enroll because she wanted to go out of state but my son is seriously considering Baylor so fingers crossed for him.
If your son is able to shave off a year or more using Dual Credits and AP thatâs going to help.
My daughter applied EA on 10/04 through CommonApp, GoBaylor status says, application complete. Awaiting decision, finger crossed. Any idea when to expect decision?
My daughter applied 8/1 and just received her acceptance on 10/10
