Bbnn vs. Belmont Hill school culture and football experience

So as the title states my son is interested in going to one of these schools next year. He would be transfering and reclasifying from a catholic school in the boston area. He is a poc, and im worried about him making friends and fitting in with either schools culture. Secondly he’s been playing football for a few years and wants to continue doing that. I just had a few questions:

How is the student culture at both schools?
Are these schools very clique oriented, in the sense that someone who hasn’t been there from freshman year will have a hard time?
Academicaly are they similar to catholic schools or is it more rigorous?
Is the football programs a teaching culture or are they expected to be fully prepared?
Which school would be a better place to be coached and become better?

If you are familiar with Catholic schools in the Boston area, the closest analogue to Belmont Hill would be St. Sebastian’s: all-male, fairly rigorous, athletics are important, <500 students. BB&N has a more diverse vibe, demographically and disposition-wise: more poets to vie with the jocks, ~1000 students.
