Not unexpected, but this one hurts a bit more. Lots of family Alumni, even a former faculty member. Wish I had opted to send that as additional info. To be clear it wasn’t sent. I have no doubt, especially from reading the stats of so many incredible students on CC alone, that there were clearly more qualified candidates. Its just hard wondering IF there was a chance, was it all left out on the field? In a sea of so many borderline (due to high applicant #s) acomplished applicants…what if…??
Im glad the acceptances came early, but such a bummer ending on so many rejections/waitlists.
I wish the selective schools had a more spread out acceptance release time frame…these last couple of weeks have been brutal!!

International full pay could be helping you. Not sure if anyone denied here is also full pay. I’m sure some are. BC is need blind for admissions but maybe not for international students?
Definitely but I doubt it would help me THAT much since prettymuch everyone from my country is paying full tuition.

My DD got the email to check the portal at 2:19PM PT. She is in class now so she hasn’t checked. Most likely not good news. It’s been so hard this week.
